Open call for figurative artwork depicting the decadence of the disco era.

Delivery of artwork to the gallery is no later than July 9th, 2018. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from the gallery. Artwork must not be wider than 36 inches or taller than 48 inches. Mediums accepted are canvas, oil, or acrylic. No photography, digital, sculpture or other mediums accepted. Some exceptions may be made depending on the work.
Artwork must be available to sell. Artists whose work is accepted to show will be sent an artist agreement and must be signed and accepted before delivery of artwork.
Unless otherwise invited by one of the curators, this call is open to members who are at the $5 tier or higher.
Prepare a folder with high resolution images which fit the theme for the exhibition. Include a spec sheet with each work's title,medium, size, year, and include a CV. Title each image accordingly. See our guidelines on how to prepare a folder. Send your folder via dropbox by sharing the link of the location to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will only contact artists whose work is accepted to show.

Founded in 2014, The Jo Hay Open Studio Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Provincetown, MA. Carolyn Kramer, Founder and Gallery Director, with her life partner, painter Jo Hay, have a clear vision and bold new approach to the art scene in Provincetown. The gallery's mission is to exhibit contemporary painting and conceptual art that challenges the viewers intellect and imagination.
Having spent the last thirty years of her professional career specializing in marketing, branding and talent management in New York City, Kramer is known for her expertise in the field of model management. Having shaped and guided the careers of the fashion industry’s most successful super-models from 1982-2004, Kramer has transposed her passion from fashion to art.
