Submission Call: Submit artwork depicting the theme WOMAN as WARRIOR.
This call is open to any artist 18 years and older. The artists featured in this exhibition will be a combination of works received in our open call as well as artists invited by our curator to submit. The works in the group show will feature emerging as well as established artists. We are accepting paintings (all mediums), photography, digital, written works including poetry, and sculptures. We are encouraging larger works. However artists are responsible for the costs of shipping their accepted pieces to and from the gallery so keep this in mind before submitting works which are heavy and large.
Use this form to submit. By submitting images and text to PoetsArtists publisher Didi Menendez you are granting her copyright to publish your work. The images and copy may be published in several formats including print, digital and PDF. Images may also be used to promote the show and may appear in other publications whom our publisher has granted permission to use.
In house policy
We have an in-house policy where if your work is not in the publication then it will not be shown which means that supplying necessary images and copy for the publication is as important as displaying and installing the work in the gallery. If your work is accepted for publication and exhibition, Didi Menendez will contact you with further information and may ask for additional materials and may include requests for video, additional copy, interview and studio images.
We will send an artist agreement to artists whose work is accepted for them to sign and email and also send in with their artwork.
We will only contact you if your work is accepted. If your work is accepted you will be required to sign an artist agreement. There are no fees to submit. Simply follow the guidelines.
We do not offer complimentary copies to our contributors.
We do not charge entry fees.
